KC Connections is the community partner expo where early career professionals are invited to learn about different regional community service, professional development, volunteer leadership positions, and networking opportunities. The goal of the event is to introduce early career professionals to new organizations to help grow their professional network. We partner with over 20 Kansas City organizations to share information about volunteer and board opportunities for early career professionals.

This summer sellout event features a panel of genKC leaders sharing stories and wisdom about getting their careers off the ground with an audience of summer interns from companies all across the metro area, directly followed by an intern and genKC social and networking reception.
genKC’s annual competitive wine tasting competition exclusively for early career professionals! Fun, interactive networking opportunity that will expose early career professionals to different neighborhoods throughout the region.
