FROM THE KC CHAMBER’S PRESIDENT AND CEO
One of the best things about living and working in Greater Kansas City is the incredible small business community that drives our region forward. From the shop owners who greet customers by name to the entrepreneurs building innovative products right here at home, these are the people who give Kansas City its heart and its hustle.
That’s why I’m inviting you to help us celebrate them by submitting names for Small Business Superstars, now through November 5. This recognition is open to any for-profit business in the KC region with 1 to 250 employees that demonstrates what it means to go above and beyond — through outstanding customer service, great products, community involvement, or simply by making a positive difference every day.
You’ll notice we’ve shifted the Superstar submission timeline for 2026. This change gives our small business community even more visibility throughout the year and aligns recognition with our Small Business Celebration program, which will also launch earlier in the year. With all eyes on the Kansas City region as we prepare to welcome the world for FIFA World Cup 2026™, this adjustment ensures our focus on honoring small businesses remains strong, intentional, and uninterrupted.
When you take a few moments to nominate a Superstar, you’re doing more than filling out a form, you’re helping us spotlight the small businesses that keep our neighborhoods vibrant, our workforce strong, and our local economy growing. Submit your Small Business Superstars now.
