FROM THE KC CHAMBER’S PRESIDENT AND CEO
I’m proud to share some exciting news: the KC Chamber has officially renewed our lease at historic Union Station for another 10 years.
This decision follows more than a year of thoughtful due diligence, strategic planning, and productive negotiations with Union Station leadership. At our June 23 meeting, the KC Chamber Board of Directors approved the renewal, reflecting our shared commitment to financial stewardship, member value, and long-term stability. It ensures that we can continue delivering high-quality service to our members while maintaining responsible use of our resources.
But this moment is about more than just where we work. Union Station is a powerful symbol of Kansas City’s spirit: regional unity, resilience, and connection. As an institution born out of (and still powered by) bistate collaboration, the KC Chamber is proud to call this landmark our home. We believe our location reinforces our role in bringing together voices from throughout the region to tackle challenges and drive opportunity.
From this historic building, we convene leaders, advocate for business, and work to grow a stronger, more vibrant regional economy that works for all. Union Station is more than an address; it’s part of our identity and a visible reminder of the civic spirit that moves Kansas City forward.
We’re grateful for our continued partnership with Union Station and for the opportunity to serve our members and our community from one of the most iconic and meaningful locations in the city. Here’s to the next decade of impact, collaboration, and progress from the very heart of Kansas City.

BI-STATE SUSTAINABLE REINVESTMENT CORRIDOR SURVEY
What kind of transit options do you want to see in our regional community? The Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) is inviting public feedback on the Bi-State Sustainable Reinvestment Corridor—a 24-mile stretch that spans Kansas City, Kansas; Kansas City, Missouri; Sugar Creek; and Independence. The project is focused on improving transportation and economic opportunity by evaluating different modes and routes based on cost, connectivity, and growth potential.
Now it’s your turn to weigh in. The corridor has been divided into five segments, each with a “Big Choice” question shaped by technical analysis and community priorities. You can review the options at marc.org/bistatecorridor. Then, share your input on the segments that matter most to you—where you live, work, or want to see better connections. The survey closes this Friday, July 11, so click here to take the survey now.
