FROM THE KC CHAMBER’S PRESIDENT AND CEO
Strong businesses are built by strong people, and right now, workforce wellness is moving from a “nice-to-have” to a true competitive advantage. That’s why the KC Chamber is partnering with the Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri–Kansas City to better understand how work-life experiences shape employee wellness across the Kansas City region.
Tomorrow, you’ll receive an email invitation to take a brief Workforce Wellness Survey developed by UMKC researchers. It’s designed to be quick and meaningful, with questions that explore work realities, personal life pressures, and overall well-being. Your participation will help ensure the survey reflects what employers and employees are actually experiencing.
This is about more than data. It’s about listening well so we can act wisely, identifying the supports that help people thrive, the stressors that hold teams back, and the workplace practices that strengthen retention, performance, and culture. The insights gathered will also help inform our ongoing Healthy KC efforts and regional conversations focused on building a healthier, more resilient workforce.
When the survey link arrives, I hope you’ll take a few minutes to participate and share it within your organization. Your voice matters, and together, we can help shape a stronger Kansas City for the people who power it every day.
Thank you for being part of this work.
