FIFA World Cup 26 | Doing Business with Portugal | Annual Dinner | and more...

FROM THE KC CHAMBER’S PRESIDENT AND CEO

The Kansas City region is on the cusp of a once-in-a-lifetime moment as FIFA World Cup 26™ is coming, and the world will be watching. To make this event truly unforgettable, KC2026 is calling for volunteers, and the time to step up is now.

The volunteer sign-up window is open through September 15, and after that, the opportunity is gone. KC2026 aims to recruit up to 15,000 people to fill 6,000 final volunteer spots, ensuring Kansas City delivers world-class hospitality. Volunteers will serve up to nine 8-hour shifts between June and July 2026, typically on no more than four days per week. Assignments range from welcoming guests at the airport, stadium, Fan Fest, and hotels to helping at streetcar stops and visitor information points. Each volunteer will receive training, a FIFA-branded uniform, and meals during shifts, plus the chance to meet people from around the globe and showcase Greater Kansas City’s legendary hospitality.

This is your chance to be part of history:

  • Apply today at kansascityfwc26.com/volunteer.
  • Encourage others—from students to retirees—to sign up.
  • Share the link with your networks so no one misses out.

When the world looks back on Greater Kansas City’s moment in the spotlight, you’ll know you played a part in making it happen. Don’t wait—sign up before September 15 and help us show the world what KC can do.
