LOUIS, Mo. (Nov. 26, 2025) — Following the announcement earlier this week from Governor Mike Kehoe, Allen Dillingham has been appointed as the new Chair of the Missouri Technology Corporation (MTC). Allen has served on the MTC Board since 2022 and has held several committee and leadership roles within the organization. Mr. Dillingham brings deep expertise in government relations and community leadership to his new role as Chair. He is currently the Director of Government Relations for The Builders, a chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America, serves as Vice Chair for the St. Luke’s Health System–Northland Hospital Board, and is a member of the St. Luke’s Foundation Board of Trustees.

“I am deeply honored and excited to step into the role of Chair for the Missouri Technology Corporation,” said Allen Dillingham. “I look forward to collaborating with the MTC team, our partners, and all of the state’s innovation communities to continue to catalyze innovation and entrepreneurship throughout the state.”

With Allen’s appointment, Dan Cobb concludes his highly impactful tenure as an MTC Board member, culminating in his service as Chair for two years. As a serial entrepreneur, Dan Cobb’s extensive experience and deep understanding of the entrepreneurial landscape were invaluable to MTC and enabled him to play a pivotal role in shaping MTC’s strategic direction and advancing Missouri’s innovation economy.

“It has been an incredible honor to serve as the Chair of the Missouri Technology Corporation,” said Dan Cobb. “My time as Chair of MTC has been rewarding. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside such dedicated board members, staff, and partners. We’ve achieved significant milestones, and I look forward to seeing MTC’s continued impact.”

In addition to the Chair appointment, the Governor’s Office also announced the appointment of three new members to the MTC Board of Directors: Brett Calhoun (Columbia, Redbud VC), Allen Kunkel (Springfield, Missouri State University), and Kara Lowe (Kansas City, KC Tech Council).

With the new appointments, 10 of the organization’s 11 appointed director positions have been filled, resulting in a diverse board that reflects the state’s innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems that MTC serves

The appointment of a new Chair and three new directors aligns with a leadership change within the organization, including the announced resignation of the current Executive Director & CEO at the end of January and the elevation of a Deputy Director earlier this month. In partnership with the Governor’s Office and the Department of Economic Development (DED), MTC looks forward to the impact the new leadership will have on the organization in 2026 and beyond.
