KC Chamber's 134th Annual Dinner Returns to In-Person Event, Vaccinations Required

The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce is excited to safely welcome attendees in person once again for the 134th Annual Dinner, Tuesday, November 23, 2021, 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. in the Kay Barnes Ballroom of the Kansas City Convention Center, 301 W. 13th Street.

The Chamber will follow the most current CDC guidelines and local health ordinances. Vaccinations are required to attend. Attendees will also be required to wear masks. Those who cannot attend in person or are not fully vaccinated can purchase tickets to the livestream of this event.

The Chamber’s Annual Dinner is one of KC’s most anticipated events of the year, bringing together the business community, educators, community organizations, and elected leaders from across the region. This year’s theme is KC For All, a celebration of all that KC is and can be. For the second year in a row, this event is open to both Chamber members and non-members.

This year the Chamber welcomes keynote speakers Davyeon Ross, Co-Founder and President of ShotTracker, and Kalen Allen, rising content creator, actor, and entertainment personality, best known for his recurring guest spot on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The Chamber will also welcome back musical talent Casi Joy.

Outgoing Chamber Chair Carolyn Watley, CBIZ/MHM, will reflect on her term over the past two years, as she is just the third person in Chamber history to hold a two-year term, and incoming Chair Ramin Cherafat, McCownGordon Construction, will look ahead to what’s next.

The evening will culminate with the announcement of the 2021 Kansas Citian of the Year. Past recipients include David Warm, Alvin Brooks, Kay Barnes, Robert Regnier, Tom Watson, James and Virginia Stowers, Thomas McDonnell, Shirley and Barnett Helzberg, The Rev. Emanuel Cleaver, R. Crosby Kemper, Jr., Donald and Adele Hall, James B. Nutter Sr., Phil Kirk, Greg Graves, and Leo Morton. Learn more about past Kansas Citian of the Year recipients here.
