Adding even more magic to this year’s festivities, Santa Claus is returning to Country Club Plaza for the first time in decades with “Saint Nic’s: A Santa Experience,” open November 20 through December 23 at 515 Nichols Road. The charming holiday pop-up offers families a nostalgic and heartwarming visit with Santa in a setting designed by Nell Hill’s, iced holiday cookies from Bloom Bakery, and Shatto Milk—a nod to Mrs. Claus’s kitchen.

Created by Cody McGee of KC Carriages and brought to life in partnership with Jenny Kincaid Julian of Kincaid PR & Connections and lead designer Carli Gross of Nell Hill’s, Saint Nic’s is designed to capture the warmth and wonder of the holidays.

“I grew up visiting the Plaza and have now worked here for more than twenty years during the holidays, and it’s always held a special kind of magic,” said Cody McGee, of KC Carriages and creator of Saint Nic’s. “When I realized Santa hadn’t had a home here in decades, I wanted to change that. Kansas City deserves a place where families can slow down, connect, and feel that same holiday wonder I remember as a kid.”

The beautifully styled space features multiple photo backdrops, a letter-writing station for children, and more. Additional creative touches from local designer Dina Stephens of Seasons A Bloom add layers of warmth and personality, while Balance KC led the build-out of the festive space. Hand-painted artwork by Danelle McGee brings even more local charm and magic to every corner.

“The Plaza is already one of the most magical places in Kansas City during the holidays—the lights and the sense of tradition are unmatched,” said Scott Keller, General Manager of Country Club Plaza. “Welcoming Saint Nic’s to the Plaza brings a wonderful new element to that experience. Together with our Holiday Market and Shopping Stroll, it creates a full day of joy, shopping, and family fun that truly captures the spirit of the season. We’re thrilled to give Kansas City families another reason to make lasting memories at the Plaza.”

Tickets to Saint Nic’s are $15 per person and include a visit with Santa, an iced cookie from Bloom Bakery, and Shatto milk. Families are encouraged to bring their own cameras to capture the moment. Space is limited and advance reservations are recommended at SaintNicsKC.com.
