PINNACLE 2026-2027 LEGACY PROJECT APPLICATION WORKSHOP

The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Centurions Leadership Program is a two-year program focused on building community awareness through civic opportunities and on community issues that affect Greater Kansas City. Every year, each of the two program cohorts select a non-profit organization as the Legacy Project, with the intent to bring a long-lasting benefit to the Kansas City community. The Legacy Committee plans, leads, and organizes Centurion volunteers to participate in and complete the project.  Interested non-profit organizations around the Greater Kansas City region can attend the application workshop is an opportunity to review your application with a Legacy Committee. PINNACLE | AN EVENING AT LOUISBURG CIDER MILL

We’re excited to gather for a fun fall evening on October 25 at the Burning of the Scarecrow! Families and friends are welcome to come out for food, festivities, and of course—the main event, the scarecrow burning. Enjoy about 3 hours of kid-friendly activities before the big moment. The scarecrow burning will take place during the final hour and burn until 10:00PM for any who would like to stay. This is also kid friendly! Plan for a relaxed fall evening with plenty of time for kids to enjoy the farm before the scarecrow lights up the night sky. The family farm includes but is not limited to: Corn Maze, Pumpkin Patch, Jump Pillow, Farm Animals, Wagon Rides, Giant Swing Set, Cider & Hard Cider Tastings, Food Trucks, General Store and more! We’ll be hanging out on the outdoor patio at Walz Tetrick Advertising — a festive, enclosed space with heaters, a sports-bar TV setup and select indoor seating. This event is all about connection, community, and, of course, Chiefs football!
