CONGRATULATIONS STACIE PROSSER, 2025 BERNARD POWELL AWARD RECIPIENT

As Market President and Publisher of the Kansas City Business Journal, Stacie leads a team dedicated to delivering business intelligence that helps local executives and entrepreneurs grow their companies, advance their careers, and navigate professional life more effectively. With nearly 30 years at KCBJ, she has held a variety of roles and has been a driving force behind the publication’s digital transformation. She has also helped create and nurture key community programs, including Next Gen Leaders, Mentoring Monday, and Women of Influence.

Beyond her professional achievements, Stacie is deeply involved in civic and nonprofit work. She currently serves on the boards of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, Breakthrough T1D, KCADC, and the Baker University Board of Trustees. She and her husband reside in Shawnee and have three adult children.

Connect with Centurions friends old and new and raise money to support future generations of Centurions at our annual Homecoming reception. This is a casual, come-and-go event with refreshing drinks, delightful appetizers, and plenty of time to catch up with your fellow Centurions.  Proceeds from this event support the DEI Legacy Scholarship which covers the full cost of tuition and trip for a professional in each cohort. The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Centurions Leadership Program is a two-year program focused on building community awareness through civic opportunities and on community issues that affect Greater Kansas City. The mission is to prepare a representative cross-section of the community’s emerging leaders for their role in shaping the future of Greater Kansas City.
