CENTURIONS AT KANSAS CITY’S LAWN PARTY

Join the Social Committee at Kansas City’s Lawn Party on July 20 from 4-8 p.m.! The Pinnacle social committee is getting a group together to hang out and enjoy this fun local community event—come relax, connect, and soak up the summer vibes with us! We’ll have a designated spot on the lawn along with complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Feel free to bring your own beverage of choice and join in the fun! Event details below provided by the museum: Soak in the summer vibes at Kansas City’s Lawn Party! We’re once again partnering with Kansas City Parks and Recreation to host a free evening of live music, food trucks, art activities, mini golf, and (of course!) lawn games. Festivities stretch from the Donald J. Hall Sculpture Park to Brush Creek in Theis Park. Please note: no grills, stakes, or tenting at this event. Pets must be on leashes. CENTURIONS AT THE BALLPARK

This year’s Pinnacle trip takes us to Detroit in October, so we’re adding a home run of an event to the lineup before our visit to Motown—catching the Royals vs. Tigers game on Saturday, August 30th at Kauffman Stadium! We’ve scored a block of discounted group tickets so we can all sit together and cheer on Kansas City. Please access the ticket link HERE. But the fun starts before the first pitch! Calling all first-years to attend the orientation Breakfast on Thursday, August 21 from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. in the KC Chamber Board Room to recap everything you learned at one of our information sessions or networking socials. Meet with your fellow classmates and learn everything you need to know from second-year Steering Committee members and Chamber staff. Headshots will be taken, so come picture ready!

Join us for our Apex 2025-2026 Kickoff Social on Thursday, August 28, from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at Husch Blackwell. This will be the first opportunity for the Classes of 2026 and 2027 to meet and connect.

Retreat is September 10-12 at Lied Lodge in Nebraska City, NE. A more formal agenda with details to follow.
