ISSUES UP CLOSE: CHOICE AND EDUCATION – A DISCUSSION ON SCHOOL CHOICE IN MISSOURI

THURSDAY, AUGUST 20 | 8:00-10:00 A.M.

In April this year, a Cole County judge ruled that Missouri can use public funds to pay for private school scholarships. This ruling allows tax dollars to be used to fund private institutions, diverting some education tax dollars from the public school system in what is commonly referred to as “school choice.”

We invite you to join us for a lively discussion on the pros and cons of school choice in the state of MO. We will hear from a variety of voices of both sides of the issue, including school district officials and politicians, in a moderated conversation format. Register here >>
