This custom glossy magazine will be distributed throughout the end of July.

Kansas City, Mo. (June 8, 2026) — Kansas City’s flourishing arts and events scene during the upcoming World Cup is covered in this custom publication produced by KC Studio called Beyond the Match.

An initiative of KC Studio, this publication is being provided to international, national, and regional visitors, as well as residents, free of charge. The magazine includes valuable information on local museum exhibits, a comprehensive calendar of events, top attractions for people to experience, information on First Fridays, regional attractions within a four-hour drive radius and much more.

Beyond the Match is being distributed through the following channels:

  • Regional base camp hotels The Inn at Meadowbrook, the Cascade Hotel, the Origin Kansas City Riverfront Hotel, The Doubletree Hotel in Lawrence and other hotels
  • Short-term rental properties throughout the Kansas and Missouri area
  • Select Made in KC locations in the Country Club Plaza, Downtown and Lenexa.
  • The KCHouse Visitor Center in the Country Club Plaza
  • Many other targeted watch parties and events throughout the area
  • A digital version can be found on KC Studio’s website here

This publication also includes a special removable insert inside the publication that will introduce visitors and readers to the Selfie Love Scavenger Hunt. The Scavenger Hunt is an interactive cultural trail designed to encourage exploration of Kansas City’s South Plaza Cultural Arts District along the Streetcar line. The Scavenger Hunt invites participants (visitors and residents) to visit six of Kansas City’s leading cultural arts institutions, locate designated selfie locations, and share their photos on social media to earn points and redeem prizes.

  • The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
  • University of Missouri-Kansas City
  • The National Museum of Toys & Miniatures
  • Kansas City Art Institute
  • The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art
