North Kansas City, MO. (Oct. 24, 2025) — NKC Health’s signature fundraiser, Glow All Out, lit up the skies around CPKC Stadium on Oct. 3 and shone a spotlight on oncology services. The event raised nearly $700,000 for the newly launched NKC Health Cancer Care program.

This year’s funds will provide advanced equipment, including a linear accelerator to deliver precise radiation therapy to cancerous tumors.

“We prioritize giving patients peace of mind by delivering the most advanced treatments,” said John Park, MD, radiation oncologist at NKC Health. “With the expansion of our tools and collaboration with Mayo Clinic specialists as a Mayo Clinic Care Network member, our patients can receive precise and state-of-the-art treatments, close to home.”

Combined with last year’s inaugural event, which supported interventional radiology, Glow All Out has raised more than $1.3 million for the health system.

“We want to ensure that cancer patients in our community have access to the highest-quality, top-of-the-line care,” said Courtney Johanning, chief development officer at NKC Health. “We are incredibly grateful to our donors and sponsors whose support has made this vision a reality.”

Attendees wore bright, festive clothing and celebrated survivorship at the upscale glow party presented by North Kansas City-based ECCO Select. The event featured performance art from Kansas City’s own Quixotic, entertainment from the Atlanta-based band Simply Irresistible, a curated drone show and a mini golf course.
