North Kansas City, MO. (Oct. 14, 2026) — NKC Health is strengthening its commitment to women’s health with the addition of High-Risk Pregnancy Care and Imaging for Women and the launch of Heart Care for Women. Together, these services expand access to advanced care while building on NKC Health’s established expertise in maternity, breast and cardiovascular care.
“Women have unique health needs throughout their lives, and these additions give us more ways to provide specialized care and connect patients with the right services,” said Rick Green, NKC Health senior vice president, medical group. “This is an important step in strengthening women’s healthcare across our health system.”
High-Risk Pregnancy Care, formerly High-Risk Pregnancy Center of Kansas City, adds maternal-fetal medicine specialists who care for women with pre-existing conditions, pregnancy complications and multiple pregnancies. The practice also provides advanced ultrasound imaging. The care team will continue providing services at their current location, 1201 NW Briarcliff Pkwy., Suite 310, in Kansas City, MO.
Imaging for Women joins NKC Health as another convenient location for the specialized breast imaging services the health system already provides. Located at 630 NW Englewood Road in Kansas City, MO, the practice brings established physicians and care teams to NKC Health and offers 3D mammography, breast biopsies, contrast-enhanced mammography and bone density scans.
Heart Care for Women, located on the hospital campus, extends NKC Health’s cardiovascular expertise with care tailored to women’s unique heart health needs. The program includes prevention, risk assessment, evaluation and treatment, with particular attention to heart health during pregnancy and menopause.
“Our goal is to make it easier for women to get the care they need, close to home,” Green said. “We’re building on the expertise we already have and making those services more connected for the women in our community.”
