CornerStone is proud to announce the appointment of two distinguished professionals to its Board of Directors: Emmanuel Wright, Innovation Manager and education storytelling advocate, and Tami Jackson, a seasoned mortgage industry leader with more than two decades of experience. Both bring exceptional depth of expertise and a shared commitment to equity, community, and impact.
Their appointments reflect CornerStone’s continued investment in building a leadership team that is both dynamic and deeply rooted in the communities it serves.

Emmanuel Wright
Innovation Manager | Learning Design & Technology
Emmanuel Wright has led the design and implementation of culturally responsive, project-based learning experiences for Black male youth in Oakland, California. A graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education (Ed.M., Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology), his work sits at the intersection of education, storytelling, and community empowerment. Prior to this work, Wright served at the UNC System Office as a Presidential Scholar and contributed to national education policy and research initiatives with the American Council on Education. A first-generation college graduate, he is deeply committed to advancing equity through innovative learning models, mentorship, and leadership development.
Tami Jackson
Mortgage Industry Leader | 20+ Years Experience
Tami Jackson brings over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry. She earned her B.S. in Management from Baker University and began her career in the mortgage sector after relocating to Kansas in 2003. Having worked with multiple mortgage subservicers, Tami has spent the last 15 years in leadership roles. She is passionate about mentoring others and consistently seeks opportunities to contribute meaningfully, both professionally and personally.
Looking Ahead
In his first initiative as a board member, Emmanuel Wright will lead CornerStone’s forthcoming documentary series, Generational Wisdom: The Currency of Wealth — a multi-generational storytelling project chronicling lived experiences across five generations.
Tami Jackson’s financial acumen and 20-year track record of mortgage industry leadership will strengthen CornerStone’s community programming and mentorship initiatives.
