OVERLAND PARK, KAN. – (June 25, 2025) – HCA Midwest Health recently presented KC CARE Health Center a 2024 Partnership Cultivation Grant check. The $25,000 grant is awarded to a community organization on behalf of HCA Midwest Health’s parent company foundation, HCA Healthcare Foundation.
KC CARE is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with multiple locations throughout Kansas City, including a clinic on the Research Medical Center campus. The grant is being utilized to support and deepen its investment in a care coordination team, elevating a continuity of patient care across all locations and ensuring patients are connected to a primary care physician. The mission of KC CARE is to promote health and wellness by providing quality care, access, research and education to underserved individuals and all members of the community.
Research Medical Center is part of HCA Midwest Health, which is Kansas City’s largest healthcare provider.
