The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Centurions Leadership Program is a two-year program focused on building community awareness through civic opportunities and on community issues that affect Greater Kansas City. The mission is to prepare a representative cross-section of the community’s emerging leaders for their role in shaping the future of Greater Kansas City. The Centurions 2025-2026 Apex Legacy Project application window is now open. Don’t miss your chance for a non-profit organization in your network to be a part of this amazing opportunity!
Every year the Centurions select a Legacy Project, intending to bring a long-lasting benefit to the Kansas City community. The committee plans, leads, and organizes Centurion volunteers to participate in and complete the project.
While every project is unique, Centurions provide several hundred skilled volunteer hours, several thousand dollars, and tremendous visibility to community leaders. Additionally, Centurions leverage relationships across the city to secure in-kind donations and sponsorships for the projects – in some instances, these contributions are enormous.
