Centurions participate in the program as actives for two years.

They volunteer for community service projects, learn about Greater Kansas City at monthly task forces, and get to know each other through social activities and additional programming. They are charged with participating in at least one standing committee and helping organize one task force per year.

Each second-year Centurion is paired with a first-year Centurion to mentor. Mentor-mentee pairs are organized into pods of six to 10 members.

First-year Centurions serve on one standing committee and help organize one of the nine task forces during the program year. Second year Centurions also serve on committees and task forces and serve as chairs of at least one of the two.
