Named for civil rights activist and former Centurion, Bernard Powell, since 1980 the Centurions Leadership Program has recognized alumni who demonstrate outstanding leadership, deep commitment to service, and clear passion for the improvement of the Greater Kansas City area in Bernard Powell’s memory.
