CENTURIONS HOMECOMING RECEPTION

Connect with Centurions friends old and new and raise money to support future generations of Centurions at our annual Homecoming reception on March 2. This is a casual, come-and-go event with good food, good drinks and plenty of time to catch up with your fellow Centurions.

Proceeds from this event support the DEI Legacy Scholarship which covers the full cost of tuition and trip for a professional in each cohort from a traditionally underrepresented group who is working to create equity within Kansas City. Register here >>

CENTURIONS ALUMNI VOLUNTEER CHALLENGE RECAP

As a focus for 2023, the Centurions Alumni Board is elevating awareness around regional housing insecurity and activating its reach to work toward proactive solutions. The Board organized volunteer opportunities for alumni, a coat-drive, and raised funds for Community LINC to kick things off, resulting in:

  • Cleaning 4 refurbished apartments in 4 hours for families to move into with the help of nearly 20 alumni.
  • Donating more than 50 heavy winter coats.
  • Funding holiday gifts for a family of 7, with the $800 raised.

Community LINC is the largest single site provider for homeless services in the KC metropolitan area. Learn how you can get involved in ending family homelessness here.
