4:1 Savings Match Program! 

Small businesses in the tourism industry are invited to apply to this innovative savings match program. Selected businesses will save $2,500 over a 4-month period, and program funds will match your savings amount 4:1! That's $10,000 in grant funding!
Funds can be utilized to pursue additional funding, renovations costs, equipment, marketing, professional services, and inventory.
 
Eligibility

  • Must maintain a principal place of business within Kansas City, Missouri and operating with a KCMO Business License
  • Business must be private, for-profit and in business for at least two years (before 1/1/2022)
  • Business must have 10 employees or less
  • Targeting businesses in tourism industries - Food, retail, art, entertainment & personal improvement services 

Required documents

  • 2024 KCMO Business License
  • KCMO Tax clearance letter

Loan Application Preparation Program!

Technical assistance providing loan packaging services to Kansas City, Missouri businesses for the completion of a successful bank loan application. The assistance includes business assessments, business plan development, feasibility analysis, and financial structuring.
 
Eligibility

  • Must maintain a principal place of business within Kansas City, Missouri and operating with a KCMO Business License
  • Business must be private, for-profit and in business for at least three years (before 1/1/2021)
  • Must plan on applying for a bank loan within the next 12 months

Required documents

  • 2024 KCMO Business License
  • KCMO Tax clearance letter
  • Previous tax returns
  • Balance Sheet
  • Profit and Loss Statement
