Metropolitan Energy Center Landlord's Energy Efficiency Summit

Member News

Metropolitan Energy Center is pleased to announce a special event on Wednesday, November 13 – our Landlord’s Energy Efficiency Summit.
We are delighted to confirm that Kansas City Missouri Mayor Quinton Lucas will be giving the keynote speech at this event, which will be held at Westport Presbyterian Church, 201 Westport Road, Kansas City, MO 64111 from 9:00 AM until noon. There is no charge for the event, and we will provide breakfast for attendees. Registration is online through Eventbrite.
This event will focus on ways that multi-family property owners and managers can improve energy efficiency and, in the process, save money for themselves and for their tenants.
We’ll review incentive programs available from regional utilities, check financing options for upgrades, find how lowered utility bills help both owners and residents alike, and learn how the latest in energy efficiency technology and benchmarking is ready to help maximize energy gains while lowering costs.
This program will be of particular interest to multi-family owners, building energy managers, real estate developers, energy service providers and non-profit professionals involved in housing, public health and community development, but is also open to the general public.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available – if you’d like to join with event sponsors Evergy, the Kansas City Kansas Board of Public Utilities and Spire, please contact Meggan Shoberg at (816) 531-7283 or by email at
