KANSAS CITY (April 10, 2024) - Today, Loews Kansas City Hotel, proudly announces the debut of the Free Spirited by Loews program. As one of the pioneering hotel brands to embrace the growing trend of mindful consumption, Free Spirited by Loews at Loews Kansas City Hotel will provide elevated and bespoke bar programming for those who choose to imbibe less or not at all.

As part of Loews’ commitment to “welcoming you like family,” Loews Kansas City Hotel continues to create judgment-free environments designed to accommodate guests of all ages, abilities, and lifestyles. With this program, Loews Kansas City Hotel will showcase their on-site mixology talent crafting impressive libations focusing on locally sourced ingredients and unique flavor combinations.

Moreover, this program will be infused into tentpole, brand-wide programming throughout the year, such as the brand’s annual Summerfest, further fulfilling the holistic approach to preference accommodation.

Low & No Beverage Offerings

Reflecting the availability of local suppliers, popular flavors in Kansas City and the creativity of the mixologists, guests can expect uniquely delicious options at Loews Kansas City Hotel. Together, the on-site beverage team in Kansas City have added a No ABV drink and Low ABV drink to the menu now available at Bar Stilwell, Stilwell restaurant, Horsefeather Social (opening May 1, weather dependent), in room dining and through on-property meetings and events:

No ABV:

• The Cucumber Crush featuring cucumber shrub, super syrup, lemon and water. Shake then strain into a Collins glass. Top ginger beer and soda.

Low ABV:

• Ruby Berry Spritz featuring 1oz dry Curaçao, 1oz mixed berry syrup, .75oz grapefruit cordial, .5oz lime and topped with Club Soda.

As an added touchpoint, Loews Kansas City Hotel has seamlessly integrated these specialty cocktails into its standard cocktail menus, with each drink clearly marked by an icon denoting its low or no ABV content. This thoughtful approach ensures that individuals seeking alternatives to traditional alcoholic beverages have access to a wide range of options while providing complete transparency and clarity.
