Boulevardia Returns for its Seventh Year with More Stages and Activities than Ever Before

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (June 13, 2022) – Boulevardia is coming back with a bang after a two-year hiatus, with more activities and activations than ever before. Glow-in-the-dark cornhole, skating, several craft activations, tarot card readings and more will accompany the amazing lineup of performances throughout the two-day festival.

This year the festival has 10 bars and 15 food vendors for ticket holders to enjoy. Attendees can also sample a variety of bites from some of Boulevardia’s sponsors, including Big Green Egg, who will be on-site grilling up Prairie Fresh Pork and KC Steak samples, and Hy-Vee, who will be grilling up Space Camper brat samples. In addition, attendees looking for a little pick-me-up can head over to the Roasterie Travel Center, where they will be selling cold brew to keep guests cool and energized throughout the festival.

More than 50 makers will be selling local goods, including jewelry, art, clothing and more, in the Makers Market located in Washington Square Park. Several interactive activities will keep attendees entertained between musical acts, including yard games hosted by KC Crew, a Ferris wheel, and a variety of photo ops. Una Familia Tequila will be offering sun hat decorating and Monster Energy is bringing a break dance performance and full- size samples at the Pershing and Main gate exits. And of course, the silent disco is back, featuring Legacy Skates, where attendees can rent skates and skate dance from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 18.

Boulevard Brewing Company will also host a variety of activations throughout the duration of the festival, highlighting some of their favorite beverages. Attendees can swing by the Fling Resort Pack-inspired picnic area for a photo op or step into an alternate universe with Space Camper inspired glow-in-the-dark cornhole. Inspired by the fate-filled story of Tank 7, Boulevard is hosting seven-minute tarot card readings and will also have an Unfiltered Wheat paint-by-number mural for attendees to contribute to.
