Boulevard Brewing Company Celebrates Pride Throughout the Month of June

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (May X, 2022) — In honor of Pride Month, Boulevard Brewing Company is thrilled to host a robust lineup of events and promotions throughout the month of June. A portion of the proceeds from each event will benefit Pride Haven and Our Spot KC, two local charities working to support the LGBTQ+ community in Kansas City.

“At Boulevard, we’re all about supporting the Kansas City community and doing our part to make it a safe and special place for everyone,” said Amber Ayres, director of consumer experience at Boulevard Brewing Company. ”We have a ton of exciting Pride-inspired events brewing (literally) for the month of June, all in support of some of our favorite local charities.”

Pride Events

Community Crowler – June

Boulevard’s Community Crowler program is designed to give back a portion of all crowler sales to local charities. This month, the newest Community Crowler will support Pride Haven and Our Spot KC. Featuring artwork by Kevin Garrison from Willoughby Design, $5 from every crowler sold throughout the month of June will be given back to these two partnering organizations. The Community Crowlers can be found in the Boulevard Beer Hall at the Tours & Rec Center.

Pride T-Shirt – June

Back by popular demand, get ready to take Pride in your appearance with Boulevard’s Pride Month rainbow logo T-shirt. Throughout June, $5 from every shirt sold in the Tours & Rec Center gift shop will benefit both Pride Haven and Our Spot KC, so you can feel good while you look good.

Rainbow Bingo – June 5

This special edition of Sunday Bingo will feature Pride Haven and Our Spot KC on June 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Enjoy some free-to-play bingo while you learn about the important work these organizations are doing for the Kansas City LGBTQ+ community. One dollar from every full pour sold during the event will benefit both organizations, so get ready to think, drink, and hear some bingo balls go ‘plink.’

Drag Night – June 15

Drag Night at Boulevard is returning Wednesday, June 15, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. featuring Drag Survivor winner Candice Marie, along with Didi C and more. Tickets are $10 and include a free signature Drag Night Quirktail. A portion of proceeds from the event will benefit Boulevard’s friends at Pride Haven and Our Spot KC.
