REMINDER: SIGN UP TO ACCESS SERVICE PROJECTS ON VOLUNTEERMARK

There are several contact-free, small group, or outdoor volunteer opportunities that are now open and are on a first-come, first-served basis. As a reminder, July 2 is the deadline to complete your 20 community service hours (minimum).

Ready to serve? Check out VolunteerMark for a few opportunities that are still in need of volunteers. Check the calendar regularly as new projects are added weekly and look for newsletter announcements or GroupMe to sign-up for projects in which spots still need to be filled.

The Centurions Alumni Board will soon be kicking off a brand-new year, and we're looking for new board members. Jon Hile, Class of 2012, will continue to lead the 2021-2022 Alumni Board as President. The board meets one hour per month and plans civic panels, projects and social events for alumni. We are currently filling Centurions Alumni Board positions for the 2021-2022 program year. If you are interested, please complete this brief application by Wednesday, May 26.

Our next conversation will focus on the AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) communities and the challenges that they have overcome and still face today.
