FROM THE KC CHAMBER'S PRESIDENT AND CEO

With the workforce situation the way that it is, it’s now more important than ever to recruit and retain your youngest employees. The KC Chamber’s genKC can help.

genKC gives early career professionals opportunities to connect, serve, and learn. The goal behind genKC is to tie these early career folks to our community and to keep them here. genKC helps them expand their local networks and grow their career.

We do that in a variety of ways, with networking events, direct connections to local CEOs and other Kansas City leaders, and with community service opportunities. Learn more about genKC here.

One of genKC’s signature events is coming up soon. Banter and Decanter is a competitive wine tasting competition. It will be held on First Friday, August 5, at the Nelson Atkins Museum. The hosts for the evening are members of the Nelson’s Young Friends of Art.

If you’re an early career professional, join us August 5. Or encourage your colleagues to join in this lively and enjoyable networking event. You’ll find more information about Banter and Decanter by clicking here. The more the merrier!
