FROM THE KC CHAMBER'S PRESIDENT AND CEO

Wow. Just wow. The Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl-bound!!!

There aren’t enough superlatives to describe this team. Andy Reid. Patrick Mahomes. Tyreek Hill. Travis Kelce. Frank Clark. And the list goes on.

I admit, the first quarter made me a little nervous, but my heart rate returned to normal once the Chiefs started coming back.

As a fan, I’m thrilled. As a Chamber President/CEO I LOVE the fact that Kansas City – our team and our town – will be in the national spotlight once again.

The matchup between 43-year-old Tom Brady and 25-year old Patrick Mahomes is a storyline we’re already seeing. With all due respect to Mr. Brady, here’s hoping that Mr. Mahomes cleans his clock.

We’ve gotten to know the head of the Tampa Bay Chamber over the years, and are already talking with him about a meaningful wager we can make. We’ll keep you posted.

In the meantime, GO CHIEFS!!!
