Tico Sports Announces Kansas City Chiefs Broadcast Deal with KPRS-HD2 (K103.3 HD2)

Kansas City, Missouri - ANOTACIÓN! Tico Sports, a division of Tico Productions, LLC in Kansas City is excited to announce a partnership with KPRS (K103.3 HD2) to become the official provider of the Tico Sports Spanish broadcast during all Kansas City Chiefs games. This partnership runs through the 2021-22 NFL Season, starting when the Chiefs face the Ravens on Sunday, September 19th.

Tico Sports was established in 2016 to provide high energy Spanish-language broadcasts for professional and collegiate sports teams. Currently, Tico broadcasts for the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars, as well as the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Kansas Jayhawks. Tico Sports has been broadcasting Kansas City Chiefs games for six seasons and is looking forward to another thrilling season ahead.

Both Tico Sports and KPRS are minority owned companies, serving a diverse audience across the region. “Carter Broadcast Group is very excited about our partnership with Tico Sports to continue bringing the Kansas City Chiefs radio broadcast and streaming to our Spanish speaking community locally and internationally,” stated Mike Carter, President and General Manager of Carter Broadcast Group. “We look forward to an exciting season and high energy broadcasts.”

The Tico Sports Gameday Crew consists of Oscar Monterroso, Founder and Color Commentator, Kike Morales, Play by Play, and Hannah Bassham, Sideline Reporter. Tico is known for their lively discussions and highly enthusiastic calls throughout each game. This year, the Tico Crew had the opportunity to broadcast Super Bowl LV live from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Ravens in Baltimore on September 19th at 7:20PM. You can listen to the Tico Crew’s broadcast on station 103.3 FM in Kansas City, starting 15 minutes before kickoff. You can also listen to the Tico Sports broadcast on the Kansas City Chiefs App, NFL Game Day Pass, KSSA 105.9FM Ke Buena (Garden City), and the Tico Sports website.
