Kansas City, MO, July 12, 2022—Recognizing the power of photography and video in communicating a brand’s story, the team at  Novella Brandhouse announces the launch of its new in-house content creation studio: Novella Studio. The Studio group will collaborate alongside the agency creative and marketing teams to create photography content for organic social media, paid social media campaigns, paid digital campaigns, traditional ad campaigns, and collateral, along with video content that can be used for organic social media. Additionally, the Novella Studio group creates and posts social media content for clients. Novella Studio is located in the KC Crossroads and is currently booking studio time.

Kansas City Photographer Jenny Wheat joins the Novella team as the Director of Content Creation for Novella Studio. For nearly two decades, Jenny has been working with brands such as Visit KC, HCA Health Midwest, Garmin, City Market and numerous Kansas City restaurants and small businesses to help them tell their story through photography and content. Her expertise and portfolio includes headshots, food, lifestyle, marketing, events, products and interiors. As an award-winning photographer in her hometown market of Kansas City and recognized by national brands, Jenny has traveled all over the world: from India to Costa Rica, and from Hawaii to salt mines a mile deep in Ontario, Canada.

“An in-house content creation studio, gives our creative team more flexibility when it comes to concepting, creating and timelines. We aren't limited now on what the client has in their asset library or what's available in stock image libraries,” Jenny Wheat said. “The other cool thing is we can experiment with ideas in the concepting phase, ultimately showing a better rough idea to a client for brand development and ad campaigns.”

Content creation is the process of brainstorming on-brand topics and information to write about what is relevant and sought out by audiences, determining the format, where it’s seen and finally, producing it.

The Novella Studio team includes photography, social, and content specialists who can bring platform-native ideas to life.
