Northeast Johnson County Chamber Recognizes the 2020 Business Awards Recipients and Holds Online Auction

Roeland Park, KS - Each year, the Northeast Johnson County Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize the successes and outstanding achievements of our members in four categories: Small Business, Corporate Business, Nonprofit and Volunteer Service. Please join us virtually this year on November 19 from 12 pm - 1 pm to experience the excitement of the 2020 awards event. The virtual Business Awards Ceremony will be broadcast on YouTube Live on the NEJC Chamber YouTube Channel. In conjunction with the virtual ceremony, the Chamber is holding an online auction. The auction will open on November 12 at 12 pm and close on November 23 at 12 pm.

All proceeds will benefit The Chamber’s mission of “Helping Businesses Grow and Communities Thrive” in Northeast Johnson County. The auction is sponsored by Casey’s Auto Repair. To bid on auction items starting on November 12 you will need to sign up for a GiveSmart account. See below for a step-by-step process.

  1. On a mobile phone or computer, go to https://nejcawards.givesmart.com
  2. Under “Sign in to Participate” click “Register Now”
  3. You can now browse auction items
  4. You will need to Log In and register a credit card to bid on items
  5. You are now ready to participate in the NEJC Chamber auction

The 2020 Business Awards will also include an “Honoring the Heroes” recognition that is sponsored by AdventHealth. 2020 has been a year that required adaptability. Many businesses and community members have stepped up and realized their ability to help others. Part of the Business Awards presentation will be dedicated to featuring stand out nominees that have been a "Hero" in their community.
