KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jones Development, a leading Kansas City-based commercial development company, has hired Cameron (Cam) Duff as Vice President-Investments, where he will steer business development efforts with a strategic focus on the firm’s value add investments.
He brings more than 10 years of experience as a commercial real estate broker to his new position; most recently he was co-owner of Bird Dog Industrial, a real estate investment firm. He is a 2015 graduate of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Centurion’s leadership development program. Duff is a licensed real estate broker in Missouri.
“It’s a ripe market for value add investments and Cam’s experience gives Jones Development a competitive advantage in finding, and competing for, those opportunities,” said Chris Jones, Executive Vice President-Construction.
Recently, Jones Development has been active across a variety of property types, including: a 615,000 square foot distribution center in Dallas; more than 400 acres of speculative land development and acquisition; over 550,000 square feet of speculative warehouse space; and investment in 943 apartment units. Jones Development has worked in 48 states and five Canadian provinces.
“I’m looking forward to helping grow the Jones Development brand and our portfolio of assets,” said Duff. “It’s an exciting time for the company and the industry.”
