Green Works in Kansas City announces the appointment of four new members and a newly named president to the organization’s board of directors

Calvin Girard, senior human resources business partner, Evergy, ascends to the position of board president after serving four years on the board. He succeeds Ryan Bresette, president, Live Like Luke Foundation, whose 10 years of service culminated in the expansion of our classroom space in Midtown, and reaching our goal to serve 150 students each year. Bresette will now serve as chair emeritus.

Joining Girard as new board members are Laurie Brown, conservation ecologist, Vireo; Mark Eisemann, attorney, LewisRice LLC;  Shane Wilson, design leader, Olivus Design and Queen Wilkes, Green Works alum and founder, Fourthought Media. 

These appointments bring Green Works in Kansas City's board membership to 11.
