David M. Buffo Named Dysart Taylor Managing Director

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (January 6, 2022) – Dysart Taylor Cotter McMonigle & Brumitt, P.C. is pleased to announce director David M. Buffo has been elected as managing director of the firm by his peers. He will serve at least a two-year term and succeeds Amanda Pennington Ketchum, who was the firm’s first woman managing director.

An experienced commercial litigator, Buffo has a strong business acumen that helps him understand his clients’ needs. His decade of experience in the manufacturing industry before attending law school gives him a unique perspective and approach to legal matters. When working with businesses, Buffo learns his clients’ businesses – and the industry as a whole – to help them achieve their objectives, understand possible outcomes of legal issues, and protect their businesses.

Buffo earned his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, his MBA from Northern Illinois University and his undergraduate in business administration from Creighton University.
