ArtsKC Awards Catalyst Mission & Ovation Grants to Local Arts Organizations

Kansas City Region (November 15, 2019) - ArtsKC - Regional Arts Council announces 31 small to mid-sized nonprofit arts organizations to receive Catalyst Mission Grants and 22 additional nonprofit arts organizations to receive mission support funding from the Ovation Grant category.

ArtsKC Catalyst Mission Grant recipients include theaters, choirs, orchestras, visual art studios and many other organizations dedicated to the arts. Ovation Grant recipients are established nonprofit arts organizations serving a regional audience with performances, programs, and exhibitions.

Ovation Grant recipients are:

"ArtsKC's support will help ignite a transformational spark by providing innovative arts programs for children across the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. "Our Ovation grant recipients present excellent performances, exhibitions, and programs for over two million people in our community each year, and draw audiences from outside our region as well. We are glad to support their ongoing seasons with funds from our generous donors." - Dana Knapp
