Area psychiatrist and business leader, Dr. Vishal Adma purchases businesses to establish diverse psychiatric services group in Kansas City area

Overland Park, KAN: (October 14, 2021) Dr. Vishal Adma, President and CEO of Integrated Psychiatric Consultants, (IPC), Overland Park, Kansas, has recently completed the purchase of Responsive Centers for Psychology and Learning, Overland Park, KS and part-ownership interest in Collective Medical Research (CMR), Prairie Village, KS, according to Ryan Speier, Chief Operating Officer at IPC.

The acquisitions have been made in following with Dr. Adma’s agenda to establish an all-encompassing psychiatric services group. Through the three entities, assistance in psychotherapy, psychological testing, psychiatric medication management services and the ability to participate in research can now be offered to both individuals and organizations, according to Dr. Adma. “The medical businesses are diverse in their service offerings, making them highly useful partners.”

Dr. Adma projects a 25% growth in the upcoming twelve months across all three businesses. Currently, each business is their own separate entity and Dr. Adma serves as the common tread between them. Dr. Adma’s vision is to create a ‘One Stop Shop,’ so to speak, for any and all of individual or organizational behavioral health needs in the Midwest. “We are constantly looking to add new talents into our team,” Dr. Adma adds.

Dr. Vishal Adma is a board-certified psychiatrist and a physician executive with extensive leadership experience. He has owned and operated Integrated Psychiatric Consultants (IPC) for more than 20 years. IPC engages psychiatric professionals (psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners) to provide care to children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients in inpatient, residential and outpatient programs.

Responsive Centers is a psychology and therapy provider including psychologists, licensed clinical therapists, psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners. They serve over three thousand patients annually from the Kansas City metro community.

Collective Medical Research (CMR) employees include multiple research coordinators and researchers. Dr. Vishal Adma is a board-certified psychiatrist and a physician executive. His extensive professional leadership experience includes being the founder, President & CEO of Integrated Psychiatric Consultants, Medical Director at KVC Hospitals, Inc., a subsidiary of KVC Health Systems, Inc., for the past 22 years, Assistant Professor at University of Kansas Medical Center and the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.
