CENTURIONS ACTIVES: THE WHOLE PERSON 101
A joint venture between the Apex and Pinnacle Cohorts, join us for The Whole Person (TWP) 101. This will be a small group session where you are presented the basics about TWP (who they are, what they do, who they serve, and how you can help.) Lunch will be catered by TWP Catering. TWP makes each meal more meaningful by deliciously combining fresh, flavorful cuisine with life-changing employment which prepares people with disabilities for competitive employment.
PINNACLE
DUE 9/16 – SECOND YEAR EXECUTIVE BREAKFAST SURVEY
Second-Year Centurions and their executives are invited to attend this breakfast to learn about the accomplishments of the graduating Centurions over the last two years. This is also an opportunity to see how their investment in the program will return a more engaged, educated, thoughtful, and connected leader. This year’s breakfast is scheduled for Thursday, November 4 in the KC Chamber Boardroom (Union Station, first floor) from 7:30-9 a.m.
Next steps: We would like to send (virtual) formal invitations to your CEO, Supervisor, and/or a Board member within the next few weeks. We understand that your leadership may have changed since you started the program, and of course we recognize many people are still working from home. It's important that we send invitations to the right people. Please complete the fields for those you would like to receive an invitation. You are welcome to invite more than one person.

I LOVE THE 90s NIGHT

ALUMNI DIRECTORY AND DUES
It’s that time of year to update your information in the Centurions Alumni Directory. We sent an email on 9/1 with the most current information we have in our database. If there is incomplete or incorrect information, please let us know by Wednesday, September 15 to be included in the 2021-2022 Directory.
We want to do our best to help you stay connected to fellow alumni. If you would like to continue your Centurions Alumni Association membership, please use this link to pay the $75 alumni dues. On the form, include the code “AD-2021” when it requests an invoice number, and include your first and last name in the notes section so we can pair each payment to the appropriate alumnus. All Spring 2021 graduates were invoiced in June for the 2021-2022 Alumni dues. If you are unsure if you have paid, please let me know.
Alumni Dues: Please Remember that 100% of alumni dues go toward alumni programming, existing scholarships for active Centurions, and beginning this fall, a new DEI Legacy scholarship opportunity. The Centurions Alumni Association is committed to enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Centurions program. As a first step in this effort the Centurions Alumni Board has created the DEI Legacy Scholarship. This Scholarship covers the full cost of tuition and trip fees for one professional from a traditionally underrepresented group who is working to create equity within Kansas City. We hope to fund one scholarship per cohort on an ongoing basis. To help us toward this goal, Alumni dues have increased to $75.

Joining the Alumni Association guarantees you a copy of the Alumni Directory once it’s published in the fall. Please stay tuned for more information on upcoming events.
