IUC: FROM A TO B: THE STIGMA OF PUBLIC TRANSIT AND HOT TO GET KC ON BOARD

May 13, 2021
5:30-7 p.m.

The Streetcar. Electric buses. Bicycles lanes. Free bus fare! It’s hard to keep up with all the transportation headlines in the Metro these days. We have gathered the experts to talk about all of the exciting momentum around public transit, and how the public perception is changing. What effects does the Streetcar expansion have on development? Why are people hesitant to ride the bus? Are there any local cities that are bike-friendly? Who is addressing the conundrum of ‘the last mile’? We’ll address these questions and much more at this transit-oriented IUC! Register here >>

We highly encourage attendees to arrive by either bus, bike, or streetcar. You will receive an email with options on how you can get from work/home to the IUC location via public transit.
