THE WAY FORWARD: RECRUITING

We have announced a few changes to the program requirements to accommodate the extraordinary circumstances caused by COVID-19. These changes will go into effect for the 2020-2021 program year. Please take note of these changes as you are talking with prospective Centurion applicants.

  • New Application Deadline. Application deadline for the Fall Class of 2022 has been extended to July 1, 2020.
  • Reduced Tuition. Tuition reductions to $1625 (organizations with fewer than 250 employees) and $2675 (organizations with more than 250 employees) for the 2020-2021 program year to cover administrative fees and anticipated expenses for small group programming. After the 2020-2021 program year, original tuition rates of $2625 and $3675 will be reinstated.
  • Multiple Centurions Per Organization Allowed. The single participant organizational limit has been temporarily lifted for the incoming Fall Class of 2022 and Spring Class of 2023. This means that an organization can have multiple candidates in the same cohort.
  • Non-Chamber Members Can Apply. KC Chamber membership requirements at program acceptance are temporarily lifted for the incoming Fall Class of 2022 and Spring Class of 2023.

For upcoming information session time/date information, please check your cohort’s newsletter section.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS - RETREAT RESCHEDULED FOR JUNE 24-26

Exciting news! Rain or shine, virtual or in-person, the show must go on. We have confirmed that the Spring Cohort will kick off this year on Wednesday, June 24 through Friday, June 26.

In times of great change it takes great leaders to show the way. We, Centurions, have the unique opportunity to demonstrate how to lead in our communities through unprecedented times. As we look ahead to the next year, the only certainty that we have is that we will continue to experience tremendous change in our work lives, home lives and social lives in the months to come. Therefore, we (your retreat planning committee) are taking a whole new approach to the classic Centurions Retreat and creating a virtual experience you won’t forget. While we’re sad to miss our time at The Elms, we guarantee to make retreat meaningful, memorable and keeping in the traditions of the program in a radical new format!

THE LATEST AND GREATEST FROM YOUR COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE

Even during a pandemic, the Spring Community Leadership Committee is committed to providing access and insight. We're coming up with creative ways for you to engage with regional leaders, and learn more about yourself as a leader - including a biweekly personality or development quiz. Share your results, get to know your fellow Spring classmates, and join the conversation! Check out the DISC Assessment by the end of today on our Learn.Serve.Lead page.
