FALL

REMINDER: SIGN UP TO ACCESS SERVICE PROJECTS ON VOLUNTEERMARK

There are several contact-free, small group, or virtual volunteer opportunities that are now open to both classes and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Opportunities are open “year-round” for everyone, which we will track by program year (Fall: July 1-June 30 and Spring: Feb 1-Jan 31).

Ready to serve? Check out VolunteerMark for a few opportunities that are still in need of volunteers. Check the calendar regularly as new projects are added weekly and look for newsletter announcements or GroupMe to sign-up for projects in which spots still need to be filled.

Upcoming Projects In Need of Volunteers:

  • August 11: Niles Therapeutic Garden
  • August 12: Happy Bottoms Diaper Processing
  • August 15: After the Harvest – Gleaning
  • August 15: KVC Niles Garden Maintenance
  • August 18: Niles Therapeutic Garden
  • August 19: Happy Bottoms Diaper Processing
  • August 20: Harvesters

SPRING

THE LATEST AND GREATEST FROM YOUR COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE

Even during a pandemic, the Spring Community Leadership Committee is committed to providing access and insight. We're coming up with creative ways for you to engage with regional leaders and to learn more about yourself as a leader— including a biweekly personality or development quiz. Share your results, get to know your fellow Spring classmates, and join the conversation! Check out Learn.Serve.Lead page.

ALUMNI

ALUMNI DIRECTORY AND DUES

It’s that time of year to update your information in the Centurions Alumni Directory and to renew your dues. The most current information we have in our database was sent last week. If there is incomplete or incorrect information, please email Abbey Hopfinger by August 12 to be included in the 2020-2021 Directory.

We want to do our best to help you stay connected to fellow alumni. If you would like to continue your Centurions Alumni Association membership, please use this link to pay the $50 alumni dues fees. On the form, include the code “AD-2021” when it requests an invoice number, and include your first and last name in the notes section so we can pair each payment to the appropriate alumnus.

If you require an invoice for your alumni dues, please contact Danielle Isbell.

Joining the Alumni Association guarantees you a copy of the Alumni Directory once it’s published in the fall. Please stay tuned for more information on upcoming events.
