Resilient KC

Adverse childhood experiences, known as ACEs, can lead to poor health outcomes in adulthood. By acknowledging the impact that stress and trauma has on our health, we can develop skills to cope with bad experiences and develop strategies to prevent them. Resilient KC is a community-wide effort to build a trauma aware and resilient community. It’s a partnership between the KC Chamber’s Healthy KC initiative and Trauma Matters KC.

Stories Matter Campaign Everyone has a story. Our Stories Matter Campaign is focused on sharing stories—stories of adversities and overcoming adversities. We want to create a community in which it’s okay for everyone to share their story and receive the support and compassion they deserve.
