ATHENA Leadership Award

Presented by KPMG and Bank Midwest

The ATHENA Leadership Award Program supports, honors, and develops women leaders. The ATHENA award is inspired by the goddess of Greek mythology known for her strength, courage, wisdom, and enlightenment. The ATHENA Leadership Award is presented to a woman – or man – who is honored for professional excellence, community service, and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills. It is an international award that is presented by local chambers of commerce and other organizations. In 35 years, nearly 7,000 leaders have received the award.
