The Chamber's Big 5 Entrepreneurship Initiative Launches Community Conversations
Asking the question: "Do you want to start something?"
Beginning Monday, February 13, a series of conversations will be held throughout the region to discuss how to achieve the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Big 5 goal to “make Kansas City America’s most entrepreneurial city.”
The idea sessions are free and open to the public, but registration is limited to 50 participants per session. For more information and to register, go to www.kauffman.org/big5conversation.
The Chamber’s Big 5 initiatives were announced last fall – each designed to create jobs and to raise “Big KC” to the next level. The entrepreneurship initiative is championed by Peter deSilva, chairman and CEO, UMB Bank.
For convenience, the conversations will be held over the lunch hour, before and after work, at a variety of locations, including:
