Your Chamber At Work - March 20, 2017

I should probably wear a red tie to this Tuesday’s annual Centurions Awards Reception. That’s because Kansas City Chiefs President Mark Donovan will be presented with one of two Centurions Leadership Awards. The second award goes to attorney Adrienne B. Haynes. Each has shown outstanding leadership in both their professional and personal lives.
Donovan is in his ninth season in Kansas City, and has brought excitement back to Arrowhead Stadium. He’s also personally committed to KC, serving in a number of civic and charitable leadership roles, including having served as a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors.
Haynes is an attorney and businesswoman who specializes in helping entrepreneurs develop sustainable infrastructure and business practices. She is the managing partner of SEED Law, a business law firm, and owner of SEED Collective, a consultancy.
Also being honored Tuesday is Tami Greenberg, recipient of the Bernard Powell Award. Greenberg is CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City. She is an alum of the Centurions program.
Congratulations to all! And if you’d like to attend, there’s still time to register. If you or someone in your organization is interested in becoming a Centurion, it’s an opportunity to learn more about the program.
