Your Chamber At Work - September 5, 2017


We’re over 72 presentations on “A Better KCI” and still going! In the last two weeks, I’ve spoken to employees at Hallmark, FleishmanHillard, and the Kansas City Fed, sharing with them the business case for a new, single terminal at KCI. Tim Cowden (head of Kansas City Area Development Council) and I plan to continue up to the November 7 election – this is just too important an issue for our regional business community and our economy.
If you’d like to schedule a presentation for you and your employees, email the Chamber’s Pam Ronfeldt and we’ll get it done. The election is only nine weeks away, and we need to continue to educate Kansas City voters as to why we need a new terminal.

The KC Chamber is thrilled to announce that we are transitioning to a new database and CRM tool to help us serve you better. This database update will affect our website functions, including:  member login, invoice payment, event registration, and member news and event posting. Your previous website member login password will not work unless you first create it as a password in our new system. Member main contacts will be invited to create their logins and update their employee contacts this week. All other employees of member companies will be invited to create their login very soon. Remember that any member can go ahead and create a user account on the new system whenever you’d like at the Create a User Account link, for example if you’d like to register for an event or pay an invoice now. We promise you’ll love some of the new features that we will be rolling out over the next few months.
