We won’t promise you the moon, but we will give you the world. The Chamber is a support system for businesses to gain insight and knowledge about how others are doing business in the ever-changing global marketplace.
WORLD TRADE CENTER
The Chamber’s World Trade Center has been a member since 1990 of the World Trade Center Association (WTCA) a not-for-profit, non-political association that represents 281 centers in 80 countries around the globe. The World Trade Center Association, the world’s largest private international trade association, was created to promote global trade and, through those relationships, foster peace and understanding.
The World Trade Center is committed to:
Focusing on trade education of the business community
Building global business leadership
Promoting a unified voice of the business community to our International Investors, to our membership, and to the small and medium sized business located in the greater Kansas City region.
In 1997, the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce recognized the need to develop an international executive business leadership program under its World Trade Center brand. Now recruiting for its 12th year, this signature program provides a forum where business, government and community champions deliver key strategies illustrating international best business practices.
